About the course

The Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) For England is a qualification designed for people who work with individuals to support and assist them with their physical or emotional care, daily living needs or maintaining their independence.

The course aims to develop the knowledge and skills for all those who wish to work with Adults in Health and Social Care settings in England . The course is made up of a mixture of mandatory units, specific pathway units and optional units, based on skills or competence or knowledge.


Course Structure

The course has various units three pathways: Generic Health and Social Care pathway, Dementia pathway and Learning Disability pathway.This course also contains optional units from the Level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma for England, for learners who wish to undertake more challenging study. You will be required to achieve at least 46 credits (regardless of pathway) to complete the qualification. An illustration of the pathways and units is found below.

 
 


Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification but learners will need to be at least 16 years of age. Learners will need to be working, volunteering or on practical placement as they need to show competence in both knowledge and skills.

What can l do on completion?

You will have the minimum qualification to work in the health and social care sector. You can progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) For England or be able to enrol in other health and social care or similar courses.

Please note payments via paypal and Google payments incur a 3.5% administration fee. Once we receive confirmation of your payment, you will be registered . You will then be allocated an assessor and given access to the learner’s resources area .Workplace visits are required for assessment of practice. Please note if paying by installments there is a deposit of £100. You will need to also pay your first installment with the deposit. Payments for the course will be a payment of £258 on enrolment and the two monthly installments of £158
